Location/Terms: Hybrid role (Austin, Texas 78751)

• 3 days remote / 2 days onsite (Thurs & Fri)
• Local candidates only must reside within 50-mile radius of Austin, TX
• Out-of-state candidates or those planning to relocate will not be considered

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

• Contractor will work on the Administrative Applications Production Data Services team.
• Focus on development and implementation of modifications and enhancements to the Financial Data Warehouse.
• Perform duties of project management including implementation of standard PMI-based practices for Agile teams.
• Establish project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum) environments.
• Understand and align with both business and technical objectives of assigned projects.
• Work closely with multiple key project stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with both clients and IT teams.
• Create project charters, work plans, and related artifacts as needed.
• Provide technical support during business hours and on-call support as necessary.
• Comprehend and communicate complex technical designs and business processes.
• Develop and deliver presentations to leadership and oversight entities.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• Must be noted on the resume.
• Certification copy must be submitted.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 6 years (Required): Project Management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations.
• 6 years (Required): State of Texas or similar Federal/State Project Management experience.
• 3 years (Required): Agile (Scrum) experience.
• 3 years (Required): Development experience.
• 3 years (Required): Jira experience.
• 1 year (Preferred): PMP Certification (documented).
• 1 year (Preferred): State of Texas Project Delivery Framework experience.
• 1 year (Preferred): Experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features.
• 1 year (Preferred): State procurement and contracting experience.
