Job Description
Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Research Assistant II to join their team. As a Research Assistant II, you will be part of the Biosensors Team supporting innovative research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and effective problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Research Assistant II
**Location:** Sunnyvale, CA - onsite
**Duration:** 12 Months on Experis W2
**Pay:** $30/hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external user studies focused on health features, including device preparation, participant enrollment, and study material distribution.
+ Conduct benchtop testing of hardware and prototypes to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
+ Work closely with engineering and legal teams to ensure study expectations are met and all necessary requirements are fulfilled.
+ Schedule participants for user studies using internal tools, monitor and reschedule cancellations as needed.
+ Prepare progress reports and summarize study progress and results for stakeholders.
**What's Needed?**
+ Familiarity with hardware and software, such as sensors, Python, Excel, Matlab, and other relevant tools (previous experience is a plus).
+ Ability to manage time effectively to maximize availability when participants arrive in the lab for user studies.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate research findings and insights.
+ Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
+ Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
