POSItiON SUMMARY:

The Operational Performance Data Analyst will manage the processes of accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis primarily utilizing Microsoft based analytics tools and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and assists the creation and development of business intelligence to bring value and guide Ardent towards actionable insights and expected outcomes through the use and development of Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, reports and other emerging tools and technologies.
  • Create analysis and visuals with various analysis technologies to best present key findings.
  • Create data models, visualizations, and well-written insightsto deliver executive-friendly analysis based on key data 
  • Understand how to interpret various data models and sources, identify trends and opportunities, and provide context with analysis
  • Use predictive models and combine data across various departments (marketing, financial, IT, operational, etc.) data-driven insights
  • Identify key performance indicators needed to show impact, and pull all data into dashboards where it can be democratized and made available for others to consume
  • Identify and enable increased tracking in metric visibility gaps among various platforms and tools
  • Understand and utilize data from a variety of sources
  • Support the building and improvement of processes and subsequent dashboards for Optimization and Performance Improvement initiatives
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems, or related degree)
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Experience developing key metrics and tracking satisfaction across the consumer journey
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.
  • Experience with continuous process improvements, preferred.
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Data management and visualization skills w/ Power BI and one or all of the following (SQL, Python, R, Tableau or similar)

  • Ability to uncover insights and develop clear and concise presentations that communicate the opportunity or threat in a story-based way
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate complex ideas and use networks to acquire relevant information
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in driving key metrics
  • Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in fast paced challenging environment and manage multiple, and oftentimes competing, priorities
  • Strong project management capabilities; organized with high attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen & communication skills, including the ability to deliver a clear story to influence agreement to your recommendations with data and insights.
