MasterTech is on the search for a Junior Level Heavy Equipment Technician in the Forest Lake, MN area.

This is a Shop Technician position, responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, earth moving, mining, aerial, cranes, etc.). The successful Technician will also have Mobile Lube Technician duties when needed.

Compensation:

• $25.00 - $35.00/hour, plus overtime after 8 hours/day. Higher wages available after training.

• 2 weeks prorated vacation, plus sick days, holidays, and PTO.

Shift:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday.
• 8 to 12 hour days on average.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient using scanners, OEM diagnostic software, and reading schematics.
• Able to work independently, and able to communicate professionally with company clients/customers.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record. CDL preferred, though not required.
